New Delhi. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB )’s hopes of holding the remaining matches of PSL season 10 in the United Arab Emirates may be shocked. The Emirates Cricket Board (ECB) is worried about what results can be the results amid the increasing border tension between India and Pakistan. According to a source, Pakistan may get a big shock.
The Pakistan Board said that the last eight matches of the tournament, which were to be held earlier in Rawalpindi, Multan and Lahore, will now be held in UAE. However, a source associated with this development in the Emirates Cricket Board has indicated on the condition of anonymity that the board is unlikely to approve the hosting of PSL’s remaining matches in the UAE citing possible security concerns arising out of increasing stress between India and Pakistan.
The source said, “The South Asian population in the UAE is very high that enjoys cricket. Hosting a tournament like PSL amidst such stressful circumstances can deteriorate the atmosphere. This can cause risk in security. There can be a conflict between people living here. Recent events have cautioned the Cricket Board to be seen as a PCB.
Let us know that since the Pahalgam attack, there is a tense atmosphere between India and Pakistan. On the night of 7 May, India gave a befitting reply to Pakistan with an airstrike.
