New Delhi. Actor Vijay Devarkonda has been engulfed in controversies before the release of the film ‘Kingdom’. Recently, a police complaint has been filed against him for alleged derogatory remarks against tribal people. According to the Telangana Today report, Lal Chauhan, a Hyderabad lawyer, has filed a complaint against the comments made by Vijay during the pre-relief event of Suriya-starrer ‘Retro’.
According to the report, Lal Chauhan lodged a complaint against Vijay at SR Nagar Police Station on Thursday. In his complaint, he alleged that the actor said in his speech about the Pahalgam terror attack that these attacks are similar to the conflicts between tribal communities hundreds of years ago.
Demand for action on actor
Tribal organizations have also objected to his comments and condemned him. He alleged that Vijay’s statements insulted him and immediately demanded an apology. According to the report, the police said that necessary action will be taken after the legal opinion on the complaint.

Vijay gave an emotional speech at the ‘Retro’ event, in which he said, ‘The solution to what is happening in Kashmir is to educate him (terrorists) and ensure that they do not have brainwash. What will they achieve? Kashmir belongs to India, and Kashmiri belongs to us.

He also lashed out at Pakistan and terrorists, saying, ‘India does not even need to attack Pakistan because the Pakistanis themselves are fed up with their government and if it continues, they will attack them themselves. In fact, as tribals used to fight 500 years ago, these people are working without intelligence and general understanding.

Let us tell you that on April 22, 28 people were killed and many others were injured in a terrorist attack on tourists in a meadow in Pahalgam, Kashmir. Many celebrities have condemned the attack and urged the government to take strict action against the terrorists. In his speech, Vijay remembered that he went to Pahalgam during the shooting of ‘Khushi’ two years ago.
