Ambergris is often found floating in the sea. Many times it also flows along the waves on the beaches. Along with this, it can also be found in the stomach of the dead whale. Floating Gold: Christopher Camp, who wrote a book called Achowl and (Annatural) History of Ambergris, says that it is not right to call it a whale vomit.
Camp says that sometimes, when a piece of meat reaches its intestines through the whale’s stomach, the whale vomit is formed through a complex process. Which the whale later takes out. In 1783, the German Physician Franz Shweigar called it a ‘rigid whale’s dung’.
There is also a theory that when the whale eats a lot of sea creature, a large piece of meat is formed in the intestines of the whale or vomiting of the vomiting of the whale. According to this theory, ambergris is formed in the bile duct of the intestines of the sperm whale.
The Japanese first discovered that ambergris is born from the sperm whale. Earlier, it was believed that it is made from bees living near the sea or a fossil tree called resin, whose trunk is formed.
