What will happen to Skype Subscribers
This change will affect both free and paid Skype users, but will not affect Skype for business. Microsoft will stop providing paid Skype facilities to new customers, including Skype credit and membarships to make and receive domestic and international calls. However, current customers can continue the use of their current credit and active members until their next re -re -cycle is eliminated.
Microsoft can switch on teams
Microsoft says that Skype users can migrate on teams and they will not have to face any major problem in doing so, as their existing Skype ID can be used to log in and easily transfer chat and contacts. However, both platforms have similar features including one-on-one and group calls, messaging and file sharing.
