The National Eligibility cum Entrance Examination (NEET)-UG to be held on May 4 will include 23 lakh candidates from across the country. Meanwhile, the mafia and their middlemen have become active to ‘trap the students and parents’ before the examination.
The Bhaskar investigation revealed that one such middleman has approached some parents of Rajkot and Saurashtra. Middlemen are guaranteeing more than 650 out of 720 numbers in NEET for 75 lakh to 1 crore rupees. The network of these middlemen is spread not only in Gujarat, but in some other states including Madhya Pradesh and Karnataka.
In this case, 8 students of Gujarat are under suspicion. It is feared that parents have dealt with middlemen for these students. The guardian who came in contact with a middleman has sent complaints to 11 places including NTA, CBI, Ministry of Education, Gujarat and Karnataka Police. On the other hand, it is also feared that a gang may cheat students and parents in the name of guarantee of success in NEET.
A guardian from Rajkot was contacted by middlemen and called for Ahmedabad for ‘deal’. I met at Skyland Hotel in Ahmedabad. He told that there was an uproar in Gujarat in 2024, so this time there has been a jugaad in the centers of Belgaum, Hubli and Bengaluru in Karnataka. The students who have been dealt with have been built from the states of ‘convenience’ 4-5 months ago.
The address in the base is replaced after the deal
According to sources, after the middleman and mafia deal, the basis of the students is formed by the state where they are setting at the center. Actually, students can fill the form from the same state where the address is recorded in the base.
Former District Education Officer of Rajkot BS Kaila says that such students whose Aadhaar cards have been changed in the last six months, if they succeed in NEET and then make Aadhaar changes, then they should be investigated.
NEET UG 2025 Examination on 4 May tomorrow The exam of NEET UG 2025 is to be held on May 4 tomorrow. Its admit cards were issued on Wednesday 30 April. Around 23 lakh candidates are going to give exams this year. Along with the admit card, NTA has also released several guidelines regarding the exam.
You can take it to the exam center…
- Transparent can carry water bottle and small bottle of sanitizer.
- Don’t forget to take a self -declarming form.
- Take any photo ID cards approved by the government like Aadhaar card, PAN card, driving license, voter ID, 12th board marksheet, passpors, ration cards or Aadhaar Enrollment slip.
- These documents will not be valid at photocopies or digital copies exam centers.
- After completion of the exam, submit the candidates original OMR sheets and admit cards.
- Candidates should visit the exam center a day before.
This is a ban at the exam center…
- Do not go wearing big button clothes and thick sool shoes.
- Do not take any kind of study material like notes, pieces of paper, zomatry box, plastic pouch, calculator, stationery and pen drive.
- Communication devices like mobile phones, Bluetooth devices, earphones, microphones, pages, smartwatch, health bands are banned at the exam center.
- Wallets, sunglasses, belts, caps, bracelets, cameras, jewelery or any kind of metal goods are not aloud at the exam center.
- Do not carry open or packed food items to the exam center.
- Do not take any items like Bluetooth gadgets, spy camera, microchip to the exam center.
