‘I am a’ actor made of luck ‘
Talking on his journey so far, Ajit said, ‘To be honest, acting was never in my plan. I am a ‘lucky’ actor. After school, I worked for about six months in an auto company. At the age of 18, the bike started racing… and then gradually started getting work in print adds and TV commercials. It was not known when it came in acting.

Film career started in 1990
Ajit started his career in 1990 with ‘An Vsu N Kanavar’ and has given hit films like ‘Veeram’, ‘Billa’ and ‘Mankatha’. In the career of more than 30 years, he has made a special place in the industry. He received the Padma Bhushan Samman at Rashtrapati Bhavan on 28 April, his wife Shalini and his children were also present on the occasion. This was a very proud moment for the whole family.
