‘It is not necessary that I retire myself’
During a conversation with India Today, when he was asked if he was planning a retirement? In response, he clearly said, ‘Who knows! It is not necessary that I take retirement myself, the situation may force me. I do not take anything lightly. People often complain about life, but in reality it is a big thing to get up every day and feel alive. I am not becoming a philosopher, but I have faced surgery and many injuries. Many of my close can have struggled with cancer. All this has taught me how valuable life is. I want to live every second completely.
‘I want to live every moment with passion’
Ajit, who is identified to stay connected with simplicity and land, further said, ‘When the journey of my life ends, I want the upstar to say-‘ I have taken full advantage of the life given. ‘ I want to live every moment with passion, without wasting time.
‘I am a’ actor made of luck ‘
Talking on his journey so far, Ajit said, ‘To be honest, acting was never in my plan. I am a ‘lucky’ actor. After school, I worked for about six months in an auto company. At the age of 18, the bike started racing… and then gradually started getting work in print adds and TV commercials. It was not known when it came in acting.
Film career started in 1990
Ajit started his career in 1990 with ‘An Vsu N Kanavar’ and has given hit films like ‘Veeram’, ‘Billa’ and ‘Mankatha’. In the career of more than 30 years, he has made a special place in the industry. He received the Padma Bhushan Samman at Rashtrapati Bhavan on 28 April, his wife Shalini and his children were also present on the occasion. This was a very proud moment for the whole family.
