Feeling Thirsty Afer Eating Chhole Bhature: If you eat chickpeas, chickpeas or pan paneer, then soon after that you feel thirsty. Have you ever noticed. Why does this happen. Let’s know from the doctor.

Highlights
- Eating salty things like dumplings, crisp makes thirst fast.
- Such things contain high amount of gluten and sodium, they absorb water from the body.
- After all, after eating such things, you should drink water if you are thirsty.
What is the reason
Clinical Dietician Dr. Priyanka Rohatgi says that after eating, some things seem more thirsty for some reasons. When you eat more salt items, there will be a strong desire to drink water in it, because sodium in salt increases the body’s correction, that is, it absorbs the water. At the same time, when the food is salty, spicy or fried-rooted, the body needs more water to digest it and maintain balance. Thirst seems more in this situation. Now the matter is more gluten in dumplings, crisp, chickpeas, pakoda, crispy, chickpeas, cheese etc. Its glycemic index is also high. This quickly increases insulin which increases the amount of urination rapidly. When the bladder of urine becomes full, the urine appears and the bladder becomes empty after pushing. This is the reason why pakoda, crisp, feels thirsty after eating. Carbahadrat is very high in gluten things. It also contains more sodium. It also starts absorbing water from the body. Due to this, at the same time, thirsty starts to feel. When you drink water, sodium goes out of urine, after which the sodium level decreases.
Dr. Priyanka Rohatgi told that when you feel thirsty, you should definitely drink water. But the amount of water should be reduced during the meal. If you drink more water during eating, then the enzyme that digested food will be reduced by dissolving in water. This will reduce its effectiveness. But this does not mean that if you do this occasionally, your digestion will be spoiled. It is not necessary that the digestive enzyme becomes bad. Therefore, if you feel thirsty, you should drink water but drink less water. If this happens once or twice, there is no need to drink it.
