Prime Minister Narendra Modi praised Indian cinema in the inaugural address. He said, “Waves is a global platform where every artist, every youth will be associated with the creative world with a new scheme. In the last one century, Indian cinema has brought India to every corner of the world.”
‘Every story has come into the hearts of crores of people of the world by becoming the voice of Indian culture. On the 150th birth anniversary of Gandhiji, I inspired people to sing his beloved hymn ‘Vaishnav Jan To Tene Kah Je’. The artist from all over the world sang it, which had a great impact and the world came together. We have to win the hearts of the world. Today India is moving towards becoming the third largest economy in the world. ”
