Aamir Khan on Film Loveyapa: Bollywood’s Mr. Perfectionist Aamir Khan is currently in the promotion of his next film Stars Zameen Par, but recently he came into the limelight about his son Junaid Khan’s debut film Lavayapa. While some people appreciated this film, it failed badly at the box office. Now for the first time Aamir has openly spoken about this failure and the reasons behind it.
During the conversation of Raj Shamani’s podcast, Aamir Khan said that people had already started watching Lavayapa with the glasses of nepotism. He said- ‘I think the film received negative response from the people. Junaid was also trolled due to nepotism. Aamir believes that Nepotism Debate impressed the image of the film, but he made it clear that he never did any ‘special treatment’ for his son.
‘I did not interfere in Junaid’s career’
Aamir also made it clear that he has not tried to get his son a role in any film. Till now I have not interfered in Junaid’s career and will not do further. He said- According to him, an artist himself should move forward with his talent and hard work, and as a father he can only pray, cannot make a way.
