The new sink feature of WhatsApp will prove to be quite easy for users who want to keep their profile picture sinks on different platforms of Meta.

- You can already share Instagram status directly on WhatsApp.
Under this feature, when you go to EDIT option to change your WhatsApp profile photo, now you will also get an option to import photos from Instagram and Facebook. Till now, users could only select photos from the gallery, click with camera, had an avatar or use AI generated image.
To use this feature, you have to first link your WhatsApp account to the Meta Accounts Center from Facebook and Instagram account. META gave the option to add WhatsApp to Accounts Center earlier this year.
Meta has already brought many features from which better integration has been done between Facebook and Instagram. For example, you can now share Instagram status directly on WhatsApp and business accounts can add WhatsApp button in your insta profile, so that customers can directly contact the WhatsApp.
