New features updates keep coming on WhatsApp. Its popularity among people is so much, every update seems to be very useful. Now WhatsApp is preparing to bring another new feature. A feature is coming soon on WhatsApp, from which you will be able to import your profile photo directly from Instagram or Facebook. According to WABetaInfo’s report, the new feature has been seen in Whatsapp Beta for Android (version 2.25.21.23) and some beta testers have started getting these updates. In the coming weeks, it will be rolled out for more users.

Under this feature, when you go to EDIT option to change your WhatsApp profile photo, now you will also get an option to import photos from Instagram and Facebook. Till now, users could only select photos from the gallery, click with camera, had an avatar or use AI generated image.

How to get this feature?

To use this feature, you have to first link your WhatsApp account to the Meta Accounts Center from Facebook and Instagram account. META gave the option to add WhatsApp to Accounts Center earlier this year.

Meta has already brought many features from which better integration has been done between Facebook and Instagram. For example, you can now share Instagram status directly on WhatsApp and business accounts can add WhatsApp button in your insta profile, so that customers can directly contact the WhatsApp.
