YouTube arrived to participate in the CEO Waves Summit.
Waves 2025: Popular video streaming platform YouTube has revealed how big he played in filling the pockets of Indians. In fact, YouTube CEO Neil Mohan has said that in the last three years, YouTube has given Rs 21,000 crore to India’s creators i.e. YouTubers, Actor and Media Companies. This reflects the strong commitment of the platform to support local talent. Neil Mohan was speaking at the World Audio Visual and Entertainment Summit (Waves) 2025 being held at the Jio World Convention Center in Mumbai.
Mohan also announced an investment of Rs 850 crore in the next 2 years to further promote the growth of Indian creators and further promotion of global rich. He said that YouTube is ready to support the creators of the next generation in India. He said that the new investment will focus on training talent, supporting creativity and helping Indian creators reach global audiences.
India’s Creator Community is growing rapidly
Mohan also said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is the most followed government leader on YouTube worldwide. He has more than 2.5 crore subscribers.
Let us know that the Creator Community of India is increasing rapidly. Last year, more than 10 crore Indian YouTube channels published content. The number of channels with more than 10 lakh subscribers increased from 11 thousand to 15 thousand.
