Sirohi: A senior player from Mount Abu in the district won the silver medal by illuminating the name in table tennis at the state level. The Rajasthan State Masters Table Tennis Championship two-day competition started on 8 and 9 February at Pro-Star Table-Tennis, Academy Jaipur. In this competition, Mahendra Singh Umat of Abu Parvat performed his game by performing well in the singles of men over 60 years of age and won the title of runner -up in Rajasthan.
Even before this, Mahendra Singh Umt has won three gold medals, three silver and two bronze medals. This is his tenth medal in Rajasthan state level. Currently Umath is the founder of the District Table Tennis Association, International Umpire, A Level Coach and Umt Table Tennis Academy. Despite aging, he did not let his game fall behind. Mahendra Singh practice table tennis 2 to 3 hours every day. He practiced a lot for the championship.
