Since childhood, Shoaib was fond of cricket but, the village did not have that kind of facility. His father who is a farmer by profession. He left no stone unturned to give good education to his children. He has studied BA LLB himself and also gave good education to all children. In those days, there was no good school in the village, so he got admission in Gyan Bharti School located in Shoaib’s Gaya city. Shoaib started playing cricket from here. Here he used to practice with tennis balls.

Shoaib’s elder brother Altamas Khan, who is serving as HRVCA in District Disaster Management under the United Nations Development Program in Gaya district itself, told Local 18 that Shoaib Khan also participated in the district and state level tournaments after playing cricket at the school level. Meanwhile, he was enrolled at Jamia Millia University, Delhi, where he continued cricket along with studies. On the basis of his best performance, Shoaib University was selected in the team and participated in the charity match and university development tournament with many big players of the country.

After not getting a place in the Bihar Ranji team, Shoaib was thinking about leaving cricket disappointed. There was a dream of playing for the country, but here too, there was no chance of playing in the Ranji team. On receiving the news of the vacancy of playing cricket in Dubai, Shoaib started preparing to go there. The father helped him full and kept sending money from home for months. Gradually, he started playing in many clubs in Dubai and Sharjah and began to be identified as a professional cricketer.

Shoaib’s hard work paid off and now he has achieved the contract with Dubai International Team. Due to continuous performance in club cricket, he also started getting money to play matches. On Dubai’s cricket pitch, Shoaib has given a new flight to his dreams. Shoaib Khan has been awarded the Imirats Cricket Board for his best fielding skills in local cricket in Dubai. Last year, he also received the Player of the Match and Best Fielder Tournament Award.
