In fact, in the budget session of Chhattisgarh on 21 March 2025, BJP MLA Dharamjit Singh had asked the question whether there is any proposal to give land to MLAs and MPs in Raipur. Responding to this, Revenue Minister Tank Ram Verma had said that we are watching the land.
He had said that we are watching land in Nakati village of Naya Raipur. It is under process. The final decision has not been taken yet. After this, the administration intensified action on the village. The villagers are now being asked to vacate the village by giving notice. Against this order, women are sitting on a dharna with sticks.

15 houses have been built, 25 are approved- Sarpanch
Sarpanch Bihari Lal Yadav of Nakti village told Dainik Bhaskar that 25 Prime Minister’s residences are approved in the village, but of these only 15 have been built so far. The rest of the work is going on. The administration has given notice to vacate the entire village and demolish illegal encroachment.

The platform for cultural programs in the village is made with the help of administration. Sitting here, the women of the village are staging a sit -in against the administration and the MLA with sticks in their hands. Strike for a week, women make khichdi here
The strike has been going on for the last 1 week. So far no protesting has been met by the administration or the government from the villagers. Women are making khichdi by lighting mass stove at the picket site itself. Children also live here. Everyone is struggling with the same demand that they will not give their land, will not let the houses break.
The whole village is living in the same fear that it is not known when the bulldozer of the administration comes for action.

SDM Nand Kumar Choubey of Raipur clearly told Dainik Bhaskar that there is government land. It has been encroached. Some people knew, even after that people captured. Because of this, notice has been sent. Whether PM residence will also break, SDM said that I cannot tell this now.
Congress leaders have submitted a memorandum to Raipur Additional Collector Kiestant Rathore and demanded not to take action. On this, he said that the villagers are occupied on government land, whoever will be the rules related to encroachment in government land, will take further action by that rule.
Dainik Bhaskar asked the Collector of Raipur Dr. Gaurav Singh that the PM houses that have been built in Nakti village will also be broken, so he said- now let’s see it, what happens ahead.
At the same time, MLA Anuj Sharma said that whoever is needy, there is no injustice to them, I will definitely see this. Whether PM housing is illegal, he said that this government has to see it, what will be the decision on this.

Village Nakti, Patwari Mild No. 77, Encouraged land Khasra number 460, area 15.4790 hectares have been occupied by the encroachers of Gram Panchayat Nakti. On 11 April 2025, the order of eviction of encroachers from this land has been passed under Section 248 of the Land Revenue Code 1959.
In the village, there are such PM housing scheme houses in the form of pucca houses, they will also be broken or not.
After removing possession from the land itself, inform the court on April 28, otherwise action will be taken to remove the possession. Since then, the administration has not been able to take any action due to the ruckus of the villagers. This notice has been given to 85 families of the village. More than 300 people live in them.
