Sujit had the opportunity to present the claim for the bronze medal through Repacle as the taunts arrived in the title match but the Indian player did not present the challenge due to injury. Similarly, the fate of Vishal Kaliraman was in the hands of Tulga Tumur Ochir, the rival of Mongolia, who defeated her.

Vishal lost his first match against the 2022 Asian Games gold medalist against 0-8. Ochir faced against Victor Rasadin of Tajikistan in the 65kg semi -finals, which he lost, causing Vishal to get out of the competition.

In the absence of Olympic bronze medalist Aman Sehrawat, Chirag could not score a single point while competing in 57 kg and he suffered a defeat against Almaz Smanbekov on a technical efficiency basis.

Kyrgyzstan wrestler then lost in the quarter -finals, which also ended the journey of Chirag in the competition. Chandramohan lost in the 79 kg category against Tajikistan’s Magomat and Loov, who faced the semi -finals in the bar.

Indian Greek Roman wrestlers won two medals while six out of 10 women wrestlers won medals, including gold gold in Manisha Bhanwala’s 62 kg and Ritika Hooda’s 76 kg.

Sunday is the last day of the competition and the remaining five male freestyle wrestlers would like to ensure that the journey of India does not end without a medal in this category.
