New Delhi. Naushad Musa, head coach of the Indian Under-23 Mains team, on Thursday announced a 29-member possible team for friendly matches to be held in Dusamb, Tajikistan next month. The India Under-23 team will face Tajikistan Under-23 and Kyrgyzya Under-23 teams in two matches respectively on June 18 and 21, which is part of the long-term scheme of the All India Football Federation (AIFF) to make it to the Senior National Team.
A few days ago Moses was part of the East Bengal team, which won the IFA Shield by defeating KBL-FC Kochi 3–1 in Kolkata. He left East Bengal in 1998 and Mahindra joined United, but could not repeat success like red and golden colors. He also played for Mohammadan Sporting, another club from Kolkata. Moses also played for India for four years from 1994 to 1998. The team’s camp will start from June 1 in Kolkata and the team will leave for Dusamb on 16 June.
