The weather has changed in the north-western states of the country after severe hot. Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh has been raining intermittently since Wednesday evening. The Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted thunderstorms and rain in more than 20 states of the country today (Thursday).
Rain continues with hail falling in 16 districts including Lucknow, Kanpur in UP. The Meteorological Department has issued rain alert in 14 districts of the state today. At the same time, 22 have died due to lightning in Bihar in the last 24 hours. Today, Orange has been issued in 8 districts, while Yellow alert has been issued in 24 districts.
Here, according to the IMD, there is a possibility of heatwave in Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Gujarat. However, rain is expected in 16 districts of Rajasthan due to western disturbance. In MP also, there was hail and light rain on Wednesday. The Meteorological Department has issued an alert for heat stroke in Ujjain-Gwalior division, while 17 districts are expected to rain.

How will the weather be the next 2 days? According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of rain in the plains of North-Western states for the next 2 days. There is a possibility of rain and hailstorm in Uttarakhand, Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal, Assam, Arunachal and Nagaland. Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Andhra will rain at many places for the next two days.
At the same time, a situation like heatwave can be created in some areas of Gujarat, Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh. The temperature can reach 40 degrees. There will be no change in the maximum temperature in north-western India, Gujarat and Maharashtra for the next 2 days. After that, the temperature may come down to 4 days temperature by 2-4 degrees.
