Bhilwara:- The wrestlers of Bhilwara have illuminated the name of the district. Two promising wrestlers in Bhilwara district have lured the name of the district, state and country by selected to represent India in the Under-20 Asian Wrestling Championships.

Anuj Vishnoi, the young wrestler of Guru Ramnivas Arena, has been selected in the 61 kg freestyle category, while Ashwini Vishnoi will participate in the 65 kg category. Ashwini is currently practicing at the Shiv gymnasium in Pur and this is her third international selection for the Indian team.

Ashwini twice a gold medalist
Ashwini Vishnoi has already made the country proud with her performance. He won the gold medal at the Under-15 Asian Championship in 2023 and the Under-17 Asian Championship in 2024 to top India. Ashwini is so proficient in the wrestling stakes that there is no one of the opposing wrestlers in front of him. His strength, technology and confidence are made in the field.

Father’s hard work and result of dreams

Ashwini’s father Mukesh Vishnoi is a laborer in a factory. Seeing the talent of the daughter, he gave all possible help, leaving behind the difficulties of life. In the initial stages, when Ashwini had to give regular time for practice, Mukesh started the night shift by changing the duty of his factory, so that he could cooperate in the training of the daughter during the day. His dream is that one day Ashwini won the medal for India in the Olympics.
