China launched 10G network.
Highlights
- China launched 10G broadband network.
- The 20GB 4K movie will be downloaded in 20 seconds.
- The speed can be up to 9,834 Mbps.
New Delhi. You are currently using 5G network in India and China has launched 10G network. According to reports, China has launched its first commercial 10-gigabit (10) broadband network in Sunan County, Hebei province. In fact, this project has been reported by Telecommunication’s legendary company Huawei and government operator China Unicom and through this, companies want to give users very fast internet speed.
According to a report by The Economic Times, the download speed under official specifications can be up to 9,834 megabits per second (MBPS) – about 10 gigabits per second (GBPS) and uploaded speed can be up to about 1008 mbps, while network latcy can only be up to 3 milliseconds. This ultra-fast network uses Next-generation 50g passive optical network (PON) technology, which increases data transmission capabilities on existing fiber-optic infrastructure.
How fast is 10G internet existing normal broadband speed
If we understand the increase in speed, then downloading a big 20GB 4K movie, which usually takes 7-10 minutes on 1GBPS connection, can be completed in less than 20 seconds using the new 10G service.
High-bandwidth applications can be easily handled by jumping in this speed. Cloud computing, immersive virtual and agramed reality (VR/AR) experience, Ultra-Hai-Definition 8K video streaming, and managing complex smart home ecosystem will be quite easy.
This new development has led China to the forefront of broadband technology, which has crossed the currently advertised top speed of other major countries like UAE and Qatar.
