Chhorii 2 Movie Review: Story is good, but not as scary as ‘Chori’

Bipasha Basu was well liked in horror films. From ‘Raj’ to ‘Alon’, he created a distinct identity in the horror genre. Now Nusrat Bharucha is succeeding in scaring people through ‘Chori’. His most awaited film ‘Chori 2’ can be seen on Prime Video from today. The story of the film ‘Chori 2’ is related to ‘Chori’. The story of ‘Chori’ has been carried forward. The story of the film begins with Sakshi (Nusrat Bharucha), who has a daughter Ishani and she has come with her daughter to a long way from the village from where she escaped after saving her life. In this, the person who supported him was a police officer (Gash Kashmir Mahajani), whose Sakshi has been living in his house for the last 7 years. Sakshi’s daughter has a big problem, her daughter is allergic to sunlight, due to which she has to cover her entire body with clothes to go to school.

Sakshi is still afraid that her husband (Saurabh Goyal) may come to her anytime and harm her and her daughter, but her friend, but her friend, the police officer comfortes her that she or her daughter Ishani will have nothing and then an incident happens. Sakshi’s daughter disappears from home one night. After all, where does her daughter disappear? Is Sakshi able to find her daughter? To know this, you have to watch the whole film.

The story of the film is good. Director Vishal Furia has added the story of ‘Chori 2’ to ‘Chori’ very well. The flow of the story is also good, but when it comes to fear, ‘Chori 2’ falls short. The fear that we got to see in ‘Chori’ is missing in ‘Chori 2’, while talking about acting, then you are going to like the acting of Nusrat Bharucha. Soha Ali Khan’s entry has been done in the film, whose style can definitely scare you. Also, the acting of Gash Kashmir Mahajani in the role of a police officer in the film is also praiseworthy.

At the same time, in the direction, Vishal Furia has focused on every small and big. He has tried to create fear through this film, but he has been able to succeed to some extent in it. If the film scares you a little, then it has a background score hand, which has been prepared by Adrija Gupta. The first half of the film seems to be moving right at its own pace, but in the second half its speed slows down, which comes to its real pace by coming to the climax. Overall, this film entertains you. If you sit down to watch this film, then your 133 minutes will not be wasted. From my side ‘Chori 2’ 3 stars out of 5.
