Amitabh Bachchan again bought land in Ayodhya for 40 crores, will the Ashiana make Saryu banks? Has taken so many plots so far

New Delhi: Amitabh Bachchan is constantly increasing his presence in the luxury real estate market of Ayodhya. According to a recent report by Hindustan Times, the veteran actor has bought his fourth property in the temple city. A few days before this new purchase, Piku Star also invested Rs 10-10 crore in a real estate firm owned by Bollywood producer Anand Pandit. His earlier investments in Ayodhya include a 5,372 sq ft plot purchased for Rs 4.54 crore before the inauguration last year. According to Mint, it was his beginning of his interest in Ayodhya Real Estate. Another important acquisition was a 54,000 square -foot plot, registered under a trust named after his father Harivansh Rai Bachchan.

Reports say that the actor is planning to build a memorial on that land dedicated to his late father. Outside Ayodhya, the Bachchan family is also actively expanding its real estate portfolio. In 2023, Amitabh and son Abhishek Bachchan jointly bought 10 apartments worth Rs 25 crore. Jaya Bachchan had revealed during her announcement in the Rajya Sabha last year that the total assets of the couple are Rs 1,578 crore. His movable property was Rs 849.11 crore, while immovable property was Rs 729.77 crore. Given the recent developments, these numbers are expected to increase.
