How to Book Confirm Ticket in Vande Bharat: Indian Railways has introduced a new facility for Vande Bharat Express passengers, so that they can book confirmed tickets till 15 minutes before the departure of the train. This step has been taken to make the journey more flexible for those passengers and to ensure better use of those seats that remain empty after the departure of the train. This facility has been implemented on the selected Vande Bharat Express routes under the South Railway Zone.

Suvidha in trains
Currently, this facility is applied only to only eight Vande Bharat Express trains which operate in Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh. These include these trains:

• 20631 Mangaluru Central – Thiruvananthapuram Central

• 20632 Thiruvananthapuram Central – Mangaluru Central

• 20627 Chennai Agmore – Nagercoil

• 20628 Nagerkoil – Chennai Egmore

• 20642 Coimbatore – Bengaluru Cantt.

• 20646 Mangaluru Central – Madgaon

• 20671 Madurai – Bengaluru Cantt.

• 20677 Dr. MGR Chennai Central – Vijayawada

In these trains, passengers climbing from the stations between the route can now take advantage of the booking window at the last minute.

1. Go to IRCTC website www.irctc.co.in or open the IRCTC Rail Connect mobile app.

2. Use your existing IRCTC credentials or create a new account if you are using for the first time.

3. Choose boarding and destination stations, travel date and select Vande Bharat Train.

4. The system will show you vacant seats in real-time.

5. Select from Executive Class or Chair Car, as well as select your boarding station.

6. Complete the payment through digital methods and get your e-ticket immediately through SMS and email.
