New Delhi. On the first day of the fourth Test of the Indo-England Test, Rishabh Pant suffered a leg injury, which was played from 23 to 27 July at Old Trafford, Manchester. The injury was taken while playing a reverse sweep shot off the ball of Chris Woakes. According to a report, he will also be out of the 2025 Asia Cup and his playing in the two -match Test series against the West Indies is also doubtful.

Last month, it was reported that Pant would be out of the game for at least six weeks, but according to a Times of India report, 27-year-old wicketkeeper-batsman will be out of the 2025 Asia Cup and his playing in the two-match Test series against the West Indies is also doubtful.

The Asia Cup 2025 will be held in the UAE from 9 to 28 September, while the two -match Test series between India and the West Indies will be played in Ahmedabad and Delhi from October 2 to 14. In the Asia Cup 2025, India will start its campaign against UAE in Dubai on September 10 and then will face Pakistan in its second Group A match on 14 September.
