Rishabh Pant was hurt in the Manchester Test, so that he can stay out of the 2025 Asia Cup and West Indies Test series. This has been claimed in a report.

Last month, it was reported that Pant would be out of the game for at least six weeks, but according to a Times of India report, 27-year-old wicketkeeper-batsman will be out of the 2025 Asia Cup and his playing in the two-match Test series against the West Indies is also doubtful.
Dhruv Jurlel got a chance to play in the fifth Test played at the Oval from 31 July to 4 August and if Pant could not play, then this Cricketer from Agra will get a chance to become India’s wicketkeeper-bowler in the West Indies series. In the Asia Cup 2025, India will start its campaign against UAE in Dubai on September 10 and then will face Pakistan in its second Group A match on 14 September. India’s last group stage match is scheduled against Oman in Abu Dhabi on 18 September.
