Xiaomi has finally announced its Android 16-based Hyperos 3 update. The company has introduced it in China this week and these updates will be rolled out for China and global variants in the coming few weeks. The good news is that recent Xiaomi and Poco devices are going to be part of this update.

Hyperos 3 updates provide cues of Android 16, in which UI and design are introduced in a new style. The app icons now look more provided, while the privacy features have also been strengthened. The new update gives a glimpse of iOS 26, which gives deep shades and gradients designs.

The largest highlight in this is the Super Island feature, which is like the Dynamic Island of Apple. Through this, users will get real-time updates, such as flight status, delivery tracking and battery charging range. The dialer app has also been made more informative, but currently it will be available only in Chinese Hyperos ROM.

Hyperos 3 also brings a good news for Gapers. It has promised better latency and fast app launch speed. Also, dynamic lockscreen and wallpaper options are also included.

Compatibility with iPhone and Mac

Xiaomi is making its ecosystem compatible with iPhones and Mac devices with this update. This will make the data transfer between the devices even more smooth and faster.
