Explain that Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh, former president of the wrestling federation, had made serious allegations of sexual harassment in 2023 by several women wrestlers in 2023, (including Vinesh Phogat, Sakshi Malik and Bajrang Punia). These wrestlers staged a sit-in at Jantar Mantar in Delhi for months and demanded the arrest of the former WFI president.
After this, after the intervention of the Supreme Court in the case, Delhi Police registered two FIRs against Brij Bhushan in May 2023. One of these FIRs were filed in allegations of sexual harassment and the other in FIR Poxo Act case, as one complainant was a minor. In this case, Delhi Police filed a cancellation report.

It was accepted by the court on Monday, after which the case was closed and Brij Bhushan was acquitted in the case. On Tuesday, Brij Bhushan performed his power by taking out the road show.
On this, wrestler Bajrang Poonia, while tweeting on his social media X handle, wrote that Brij Bhushan is still constantly pressurizing the remaining 6 women wrestlers to take back their cases as they will be feeling like to show their strength by tilting the victims of sexual harassment and taking out the road show again.
