At the same time, 38 -year -old Nadeem won the gold medal in May with an 86.40 meter throw at the Asian Championships in South Korea. After the Paris Olympic final, Nadeem has participated in the same event.

This Pakistani player underwent a calf muscle surgery in England in July. In the World Championships, the male javelin throwing qualifying round will be held on 17 September and the final day. Three other Indians Sachin Yadav, Yashveer Singh and Rohit Yadav are also participating in this championship in Tokyo. With this, the male javelin throw players of India will be the highest number of players.

Julian Weber of Diamond League Trophy winner Germany will land as a favorite contender in this event after throwing more than 90 meters this year. Chopra has obtained a 90 meter throw for the first time in his career this year. In May, he finished second in the Doha Diamond League with a throw of 90.23 meters. It will also include athletes like Anderson Peters of two -time world champion Granada, Julius Jeo of Kenya, Trinadad and Tobago’s Keshorn Walcot.
