The women’s hockey team would like to get the World Cup ticket through the Pro League.

New Delhi. After working hard to overcome their weaknesses, the Indian women’s hockey team will try to perform better in the European phase of the Pro League. Which will start with the match against Australia on Saturday. The Indian team currently ranked sixth in the table with nine points. India will play two matches against Argentina on 17 and 18 June after confronting Australia on 14 and 15 June. The team will then go to Antwerp on June 19 where it has to play two matches against Belgium. These matches will be played on 21 and 22 June. After this, the European phase will conclude with a match against China on 28 and 29 June in Berlin.

On the eve of the match, head coach Harendra Singh told reporters, ‘We have worked in every department. But the two areas I am paying more attention to are goalkeeping and drag flicking. The role of these two is very important in the result of the match. Singh also said that drag flicker Deepika and Manisha had attended the 10-day special camp under the supervision of the Netherlands veteran Drag-Flicate expert Toon Sipman before the tour.

Earlier, the team has got a chance to improve harmony with five friendship matches against Australia and Australia A on the tour of Australia.
