New Delhi. After becoming the Asian Champion of the Indian men’s team, now the women’s team has also moved towards winning this trophy. After showing a strong game in the league stage, the team also started the Super 4 with victory. India defeated Korea 4–2 at the Gongshu Canal Sports Park Stadium on Wednesday. By winning the Super 4, the Indian team has continued the journey of being invincible in the tournament.
Vaishnavi Phalke scored the first goal for India in this match. He gave India an edge after the penalty corner in the second minute of the match. He injected the ball after which Udita’s shot was saved by the Korean goalkeeper. But Vaishnavi had positioned himself near the goal. He converted the rebound into a goal.
