UPSC Civil Services Examination (CSE) is considered one of India’s most difficult recruitment exams and candidates use many methods to prepare for this challenging examination. Some coaching depend on classes, while some consider the self -study as a stronger option. But the young IAS officer of Uttar Pradesh, Vibhor Bhardwaj adopted a completely different way to prepare for UPSC CSE. He used Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools to increase his subject knowledge and prepare for the final interview.
Who is IAS Vibhor Bhardwaj? : Born in Northwalli, a small village in Bulandshahr district of Uttar Pradesh, Vibhor Bhardwaj received a MSC degree in Physics from Hansraj College, Delhi University. After this, he started preparing to pass UPSC CSE and realize his life’s dream of becoming a civil servant. Vibhor Bhardwaj chose physics as its alternative subject for the UPSC exam and rely on online coaching classes and notes made by himself. His efficient preparation strategy enabled him to prepare for the UPSC CSE prelims early and cover the entire UPSC Mains syllabus in just seven months.
In an interview, Vibhor reported that he carefully studied the previous UPSC CSE question papers and used them as a guide to make his preparation strategy. He also focused on daily news paper and contemporary events, as well as regular mock tests, which further strengthened their preparations.
How to pass UPSC using AI? : Interestingly, an important part of Vibhor Bhardwaj’s UPSC preparation was the use of AI tools, such as Google’s Gemini, which he used for mock interview. IAS Vibhor Bhardwaj Air: Finally, Vibhor Bhardwaj passed the UPSC CSE in 2022 and achieved All India Rank 743. However, this rank could not ensure them the post of IAS, so they tried again in 2024; This time he jumped and realized his dream of becoming an IAS officer by achieving Air 19.
