Actually these suffixes determine the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI). SMS messages are classified in a similar way based on their content and purpose. -P (Promotion):
If there is a written in the end of the message, then it means that it is a promotional message. These messages are designed to advertise or propagate products or services. Usually you can come from 9 am to 9 pm.
-S (related to Service):
If the lastin is in the last -SS, then it will be a service -related message. For example, information related to the account update or subscribed to the services subscribed by the customer is in the end of the messages like etc.

-T (transaction):
-T see if there is a message for the transaction. One such as One-Time Password (OTP), order confirmation, shipping information and bank account balance update. These messages can be sent at any time, even outside the normal time of promotional messages, because they have the necessary information related to transactions which the customers expect to get immediately.
-G (government):
If G is written, the message must have been sent by the government. These may include public health announcements, emergency alerts, government service updates or other official information which are necessary for public awareness. Given their important nature, government messages are given priority and they can be sent at any time.
There is nothing to do at the end of the messages

Can scams also take SMS at the end of P, T, S and G?
