If there is a deficiency of vitamin C in the body, then even if you are eating iron, it will not get the benefit.

Another important vitamin is vitamin D, whose deficiency has become very common nowadays. It keeps the bones strong as well as maintains the immunity and energy level of the body. Its deficiency not only causes muscle pain and fatigue, but the body often feels cold. Especially those people who stay away from the sun or whose most of the time passes in a closed room, may be deficient in vitamin D.

If you feel constant cold, then do a blood test once after consulting a doctor. This will be able to know which vitamin or mineral in your body is low. Doctors can advise you to take supplements if needed. Along with this, you can make changes in your diet- such as spinach, green leafy vegetables, fruits, eggs, fish, nuts and seeds like it will be beneficial. Also, get used to sitting in the sun for a while in the morning. It helps in the formation of vitamin D in the body. Light exercise and drinking enough water also improves blood circulation, which keeps the body warm itself.
