After being orphan at a young age, Krishna Pathak lost his mother at the age of 12. A few months before representing India in the 2016 Junior World Cup, Krishna Pathak had also lost his father. Growing up in difficult situations, Krishna has earned his name in hockey. He took training at Surjeet Hockey Academy of Jalandhar from the age of 12.

‘Where to start’

I do not know whether I have any place or not, which I can call home. I have faced many failures in my life. Had there been no hockey, I might have been trapped in the clutches of drugs. He played his first match in the four -nation tournament against Japan in January 2018 and soon became the main part of the team. In the last few years, readers have been an integral part of India’s successes. This includes the 2018 Asian Champions Trophy, 2022 Asian Games gold in Hangzo and continuous Asian Champions Trophy win in 2023 and 2024.

‘I am living my dream’
28 -year -old Krishna Pathak said, ‘I am living my dream and playing hockey for the country. And, this is the only thing that gives me satisfaction.
