Jyoti, who lives in Karnataka due to financial constraints, was struggling to enroll in the college. But Pant helped him.

Jyoti, who is a resident of Rabkavi village (Karnataka) of Bilgi taluk. He secured 83 percent marks in his II PUC board examination. Despite his desire to get higher education, poverty and economic difficulties created major obstacles in his path. His father, pilgrims, run a small tea shop in the village and were unable to raise money for their daughter’s education.
He contacted his friends in Bengaluru, who was close to Rishabh Pant and told the cricketer about the status of Jyoti. Impressed by his situation, Rishabh Pant immediately took steps and transferred Rs 40,000 directly to the college account on 17 July, which completed the first semester fee of Jyoti. Overwhelmed by Rishabh Pant’s generosity, Jyoti said, “I completed my II PUC in Galagali and dreamed of doing BCA course.
