New Delhi. Samsung may soon launch a new version of ring -shaped health and fitness tracker in its first generation. According to the discussions, the Galaxy Ring will come with 2 new features, thin design and long battery life. Meanwhile, Apple is also developing a new wearable smart device at the same time.
In a post on South Korean online platform NAVER, the user @Yeux1122 stated that Samsung is planning to “originally employed” the successor of the Galaxy Ring. This statement is a bit unclear, but if Samsung planned to be released later, it may mean that this device may be launched in 2025. The device can also come with the Galaxy S25 series, which is estimated to be launched in the first quarter of 2025.
The tipster, which has a good record of giving information about Samsung’s future products, has suggested the thin size of the Galaxy Ring 2 and an early launch date. This first generation device comes in nine different sizes, of which the fifth size weighs 2.3 grams and width is 7.0 mm, while the thirteenth size weighs 3 grams. Compared to the current model, the Galaxy Ring 2 is also expected to have a long battery life. When Samsung introduced the Galaxy Ring earlier this year, the company claimed that there will be a battery life of up to seven days if charged twice.
The tipster has also mentioned new features, but has not given any details. He has confirmed in his blog post that Apple is also developing his own wearables, which can be in the shape of smart ring. However, another recent report claimed that the iPhone manufacturer has left the Smart Ring Project to avoid reducing the sales of Apple Watch.
