Shatrughan considered Amitabh as enemies
Amitabh Bachchan has been a part of many films where he stole the limelight. During the shooting of Yash Chopra’s black stone, Amitabh did something that was a sign of rivalry and the end of a good partnership. During that time Shatrughan Sinha considered Amitabh as his enemy and yet he worked in 6 films. Kala Patthar was the 6th film of both in which Amitabh lost his temper on Sinha during the shooting of a fight sequence and continued to beat Sinha even after Yash said ‘cut’.
Shatrughan Sinha and Amitabh’s fight became terrible during shooting
During the shooting, the fight increased further and Bachchan had lifted the shovel on Sinha. Despite Yash’s many efforts, both of them did not stop until Shashi Kapoor came in the middle and separated him. After Kapoor stopped him, Bachchan regained consciousness and realized that he was swept away in a sense of anger. Everyone knows that Sinha always used to come late, while Bachchan was always punctual. Bachchan’s increasing popularity created professional jealousy within Sinha and that is why he lost control of himself during this sequence. After black stone, Amitabh and Shatrughan Shan (1980) and Manmohan Desai’s Naseeb (1981) appeared. This blockbuster was his last support on the big screen and after that he never worked together.
When Shatrughan Sinha told, Amitabh used to be jealous of his praise
In his biography, Nothing butt silent, Sinha told Bachchan about his professional enemy and said that Amitabh had trouble getting praise for his performance. Vishwanath actor said, “The problem was that I was getting praise for my performance.” In another interview, Sinha said, ‘There are misunderstandings and sometimes they grow. Then maturity comes and you realize that this should not have happened. When it comes to Amitabh, I feel sad and I am sure he must have realized this too. Currently Bachchan and Sinha are good friends and they have also appeared in the procession of TV show Yaaron.
