This feature has been reported by WABETAINFO and told that it was currently seen in the beta version of the app and may soon introduce it in the stable variants of the app.
The report also stated that WhatsApp is working on a new section that will allow users to manage the synchronization of their address book, which will give them the facility to control every contact or not.
