What is summer depression
Psychiatrist Muskan Yadav says that the increasing temperature in summer causes depression. During this time, humidity and heat bother people. Due to strong sunlight, the energy of the body starts decreasing due to which a person feels mentally tired. At the same time, due to sweating, body becomes a victim of dehydration and heatwave also causes problems. All these things affect the mood of a human being.

Sleep affects
While the low light affects the mood in winter, the day to long time in summer affects the sleep pattern. Due to prolonged lighting, sleep hormones named melatonin do not be made on time in the body and the signal of the brain does not reach the night. Because of this, people keep running mobiles for a long time in this season or go out to roam in the evening. If the pattern of sleep changes, then the mood is affected and the person feels stress due to lack of sleep.

If the habit of suddenly eating starts changing and due to heat, there is alert and disappointment in the body, then be cautious and show the psychiatrist. Ignoring these symptoms can be heavy on health.

Do the morning walk
Depression and sun have a very deep connection. If you have to stay away from depression in this season, then definitely sit in the sun before 10 am every morning. Or do a physical activity. Walking or exercising 30 minutes every day in the morning releases a hormone named endorphin in the brain, which makes the person’s mood happy and keeps the depression away. At the same time, the sun improves the body clock inside the body. There is no sleep due to depression. But those who live in the sun in the morning, their sleep pattern starts improving. Make a habit of sleeping and getting up every day at a fixed time. This will improve the mood.

Apart from water, beverages like buttermilk, lassi, coconut water, shikanji, juice can also be drunk. Avoid packed juice or market sold juice. Apart from this, always eat fresh food in this season. Include vegetables, fruits and light things like porridge, khichdi, oats soup. When the stomach remains light and the body is hydrated, the mood will not be bad.
