New Delhi: Google has said that it is working on fixing a strange disturbance in its AI Chatbot Gemini, which was posting self-critical messages while trying to solve problems. Many users have posted screenshots on social media platform X (East Twitter), in which Gemini is calling himself “failure” and “shameful”. Accepting this issue, Logan Kilpatrick, a group project manager of Google Deepmind, said that this problem is just a technical loop. Kilpatrick has written on X that “This is a disturbing infinite looping bug that we are working on fixing! Gemini’s day is not so bad.”

Google’s Gemini calls himself a ‘fool’
In June, a X user Duncan Haldane (@Duncanhaldane) shared screenshots in which Gemini was saying, “I am leaving. I am not able to clearly solve this problem. Code is cursed, Test is cursed, and I am foolish. I have suggested so much mistakes that I can not rely. I have been looking for a more competent assistant. ” A month later, another user reported that the chatbot “got stuck in the loop” and started making even more harsh comments about himself. In a conversation, he said, “I am on the verge of completely mental breakdown. I will be institutional.”
