On the limited availability of Jaspreet Bumrah, Sanjay Manjrekar said that India should give priority to players desirous and willing to perform, before big names.

New Delhi. The discussion about the limited availability of Jaspreet Bumrah does not seem to end. World number 1 bowler Bumrah was part of the Indian team for Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy, but he played only three Test matches in which he cited the workload management. Let’s know what Sanjay Manjrekar has said on this.
In the midst of this debate, former Indian cricketer Sanjay Manjrekar said, “The game will always show us the mirror, no matter how much we try to shine.
Sanjay further said, “Among them were Virat (Kohli), (Cheteshwar) Pujara, Rohit (Sharma), (Mohammad) Shami and Bumrah! It has reminded us of the eternal truth of sports and life and similarly India should handle Bumrah. If he cannot play more than two matches or sometimes you should not play more than one, then they should not play more than one.
The former cricketer stressed that the players wishing to fit and perform should be given priority before the big names. “For me, players should be selected before a highly skilled player on any day.”
