New Delhi: Akshay Kumar’s upcoming film ‘Kesari Chapter 2: The Untold Story of Jallianwala Bagh’ was screened in Delhi on Tuesday. Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri, BJP MP Anurag Thakur and Delhi Government Minister Kapil Mishra were present on the occasion.
The screening of the film ‘Kesari Chapter 2’ starring Akshay Kumar and R Madhavan was held at PVR cinema in Chanakyapuri, which was described by political personalities.
Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta said, “Chapter 2 is a great film. I have seen a little part of it, but I would like to see it complete. We will not get a chance to sacrifice for our country, so we should start living for our country.”

Delhi government minister Kapil Mishra said about ‘Kesari Chapter 2’, “It is a great film. Jallianwala Bagh is an important part of freedom struggle, whose whole truth is not known to people. Through this film, the whole truth has been revealed. Everyone should watch this film.”

R Madhavan, who is playing the lead role in the film, also attended the event. He said, “This film is an excellent depiction of history. The British had made the film ‘Gandhi’, now we have made this film. Do watch it.”

Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri said, “I want the youth to watch this film and take inspiration from it. I do not want to make it a political issue, but I want to tell the attitude of the Congress, who have been busy promoting their family and forgot the reality.”
