In an interview with Zoom, Kavita Krishnamurthy shared his views on the ban of Pakistani artist, saying, ‘Look, I think there is no language or limitations of music, it is only about seven notes and if an artist is very good and popular, then you should appreciate them. There is no religion of music for me personally, but at the same time there is enough talent in India which you should recognize and give opportunity to Indian artists.

She further says, ‘Pakistani artists have sung a lot in India and people have accepted them and I think it will continue, but I think you can definitely give a chance to many Indian artists who are waiting for the right opportunities, so why not give them an opportunity.’
