New Delhi: Aamir Khan and Karisma Kapoor’s 1996 blockbuster ‘Raja Hindustani’ became one of the most famous films of Bollywood. After the release of the film, Aamir and Karishma’s sensational on-screen became the subject of which discussion. Karishma once spoke openly about the shooting of the scene. In an old interview with Karisma Rajiv Masand about shooting the scene with Aamir, Karishma recalled the difficult circumstances suffered to shoot the scene.

The actress shared the shooting of that scene in that interview, ‘We passed through a lot of tough situations. People say, ‘Oh, that kiss’ and all, but during that shooting, what we kept on facing for three days… in February in Ooty… We were like this, ‘When is this scene ending?’

He further explained how the weather had done the shooting even more. Dharmesh Darshan told about the scene, the film’s director Dharmesh Darshan revealed in an interview with Lehran Retro that Karishma’s mother Babita Kapoor was present during the three -day shooting of the intimate sequence. Darshan also remembered that he had included Babita directly in the discussion to make his daughter feel comfortable.

‘Raja Hindustani’ emerged as a big success at the box-office and won many awards. Kunal Khemu, Johnny Lever and Archana Puran Singh also played important roles in the film.
