Virat Kohli played a century against Afghanistan on 8 September 2022 in the Asia Cup T20 format. Kohli came on the field with captain KL Rahul as opener. The two batsmen shared 119 runs in 12.4 overs. KL Rahul was dismissed for 62 runs in 41 balls, while Kohli scored 122 not out in 61 balls with the help of six sixes and 12 fours. On the basis of these batsmen, India scored 212 runs losing two wickets.
