I want to clarify honestly, that I had no intention of hurting or targeting any community, especially our Scheduled Tribes, which I respectfully respect and consider them to be an integral part of our country. Subsequently, Devarakonda said that he never intended to hurt anyone and he was talking about ‘unity in India’ and people being one. He clarified, ‘I was speaking about unity, how India is one, our people are one, and how we should move together. In which world I will deliberately discriminate against any group of Indians, while appealing to remain united as a country, I see all of whom I see as my family, like my brothers. ‘

According to Telangana Today, Hyderabad lawyer Lal Chauhan has registered a case based on the reaction made by Vijay at Surya’s pre-release event. According to the report, a complaint was lodged at SR Nagar Police Station on Thursday, alleging that during his speech on the Pahalgam terror attack, the ‘Geeta Govindam’ actor compared the incident to the centuries -old struggles between tribal communities.
