Vardhan Puri: Acting is like a therapy.

New DelhiActor Vardhan Puri, grandson of late actor Amrish Puri, sees acting as an experience. The actor told that he got to learn a lot from each of his characters. He said that he believes that acting is like a therapy.

Vardhan started his cine career with the 2019 film Yeh Sali Aashiqui. Recently, Vardhan said in one of his interviews that every character helps me understand his feelings better, which is close to my heart.

He said, ‘Acting is like a therapy for me. When I play a role, I do not just show off, win it. Whether it is related to love, pain, anger or happiness, I feel everything. This process helps me deal with my feelings and makes me strong.

Vardhan believes that cinema is like a therapy not just actors but also for the audience. He said, ‘I want to do such films, whose story should be with people, they should feel it and settle in their minds. The hearts of the audience managed to leave their mark on the minds. Cinema is a means from which emotions can be converted into art through the character.
