Vaibhav Suryavanshi, who played for Rajasthan Royals in the IPL, said, ‘National Sports Day reminds me how sports bring everyone together. Playing teaches you teamwork, discipline and flexibility. I consider myself lucky by being a part of Rajasthan Royals, learning and fulfilling my dreams. I hope more children like me will start playing and believe in themselves. The 12th season of the Pro Kabaddi League will begin badminton veteran Pullela Gopichand, former Indian hockey captain Dhanraj Pillai, Kabaddi superstar Pradeep Narwal and Team India’s under-19 team opener Vaibhav Suryavanshi.
These major changes have happened in the rules
In the Pro Kabaddi League, many changes have been made in the rules for the thrill of thrill. This time, results will be released for all matches. There will also be decisions of tiebreaker and draw matches in the league stage. A new play-in ‘phase’ has been launched between the league and the playoffs. 2 teams of Top will get direct qualification, while the third and fourth teams will clash in a mini qualifier. Teams from fifth to eighth rank will try hard to move forward in the play-in phase.
The first match will be played between these 2 teams
PKL National Sports Day is being held on 29 August after seven years. In the first match of this season of PKL, the home team Telugu Titans will face Tamil Thalaivas. Whereas in the second match, Bangalore Bulls and Puneri Paltan will be face to face at Vishwanath Sports Club in Visakhapatnam. Meanwhile, PKL will start from season 12 Visakhapatnam (29 August to 11 September), after which it will be held in Jaipur (September 12 to September 28), Chennai (29 September to 10 October) and New Delhi (11 October to 23 October). The playoffs and final venue have not been decided.
