On 4 May 2025, there will be a meeting between the farmers and the central government in Chandigarh. Prior to the meeting, the United Kisan Morcha Non -Political and Kisan Mazdoor Morcha has written a letter to Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan. Also, there is a demand that the ministers of the Punjab government in this meeting

He has given the reason behind this to forcefully remove the front after the meeting on March 19 and put the farmers in jails. If the ministers of the Punjab government are involved, then the leaders of the front will not attend the meeting. He has demanded from the government that they should be informed about this quickly.

Solution of farmers’ issues possible by negotiation
The United Kisan Morcha (Non-Political) and Kisan Mazdoor Morcha believe that the solution to farming issues is possible only through dialogue in the meeting and we are always ready for talks.
Farmers cheated in jails by deception
Our last meeting was held on March 19, 2025 in a cordial atmosphere in Chandigarh, at the end of which the next meeting was scheduled on May 4, but after the end of March 19, the Punjab government fraudulently arrested the farmer leaders and sent them to jail and the farmers running on Shambhu and Datasinhwala-Khanuri border were crushed.
By doing such an act, the Punjab State Government has insulted the farmers across the country by hurting them, due to which there is anger among the farmers across the country.
Central government also had responsibility We also want to bring to your notice that we attended the written invitation of the Central Government in a meeting held in Chandigarh on 19 March, so during the ongoing conversation between the Central Government and the farmer organizations, the central government also became responsible for not having any incident like “arrest of farmer leaders and crushing farmers fronts”.
Punjab ministers will not be involved in the meeting
Respecting the spirit of farmers across the country, the United Kisan Morcha (Non-Political) and Kisan Mazdoor Morcha is requested to the Central Government that the representatives of the Punjab government should not be included in the proposed meeting of Chandigarh on 4 May 2025.
If the representatives of the Punjab government are involved in the proposed meeting of May 4, then the delegations of our fronts will not attend that proposed meeting according to the decisions of the United Kisan Morcha (Non-Political) and Kisan Mazdoor Morcha and the spirit of the farmers of the country, please inform us about its decision as soon as possible.
