Umesh Yadav talks about returning to the Indian team
New Delhi. Umesh Yadav used to be a prominent name in the bowling of the Indian team at one time but he has been sitting out of the Test team for the last two years. This star player has not got a chance after the final of the ICC World Test Championship in London against Australia. Umesh Yadav’s continuous falling demonstrations raised the trust of the selectors from him.
The Indian team has moved forward to make Shubman Gill a young Test captain for the five -match series to be held in England. Right -arm fast bowler Yadav has not given up hope and is still dreaming of a comeback. Earlier this year, he underwent a surgery and is currently recovering from the toe of the leg muscles.
37 -year -old Yadav last played the match in November 2024, he has taken 170 wickets in 57 Tests. His record is fantastic while playing in India, where he has taken 101 wickets in 32 Tests, the average is 25.88, “Somebody asked me to play, someone asked him to play. Playing, playing, the son of a (coal minor) coal mine is playing for India here. I think some things have to happen. I always say that you can not make a fast bowler.”
